We had a groupon, so came here last night. It is VERY tiny--maybe 8 tables. It was warm & cozy. The service was slow, but the waitress friendly. They didn't have sparkling water, so she substituted a mango lassi--nice gesture. We had Mumbai crepe, which was unusual, but fairly good. I had the tandoori grilled lamb chops. They were a tad fatty, but delicious. My friend had the chicken tikka which was also very good. We barely had room for dessert, but ordered the rasmalai, & enjoyed it. The prices here are more than fair, & U will enjoy your dinner. However, if U need a lot of room, U could feel closed in.

I took my work team to this place for lunch. We took over the whole place. There were 16 of us, so it is small. But, wow. Great food, great service. We have ordered from here a couple of times since then. 10-12 lunches. Great and consistent food. Great service. This is the new favorite indian joint in the west village for me and my work colleagues.

Was visiting NYC and stumbled upon this hole in the wall and it was quite a pleasent surprise. Great value for money and a wholesome meal. The Indian crepe dish was extra ordinary. Never had something like that before. Two thumbs up !!

I placed a delivery order on a weeknight, from a few blocks away, at around 8:45pm. After 1h the food had not arrived yet, so I called them to check on the order. "It just went out," they said. 30 minutes later, still nothing. I called again. "The delivery guy said no one was there." Which was false, as I pointed out. They checked again, "It went out, should be there in minutes." 30 more minutes and no one has showed up yet. It's now two hours since I placed my order and I'm starving. I call again. Lady on the phone mumbles some excuse about a new delivery guy. It's been TWO HOURS, I say, I would like to cancel my order and be refunded. They say they cannot cancel since it's a Seamless order. False again, other restaurants cancel Seamless orders without problems. I'm probably not going to have dinner tonight. Definitely not the indian food I ordered over two hours ago.

This little gem is a dream come true. I've tried every Indian restaurant in the Village and this place is tops. Everything we've ordered has been excellent, spicy goodness. The veg and non-veg complicated plates make for a perfect after work meal for two. My taste buds (and wallet) thank Tiffin and Thali.

Small, cozy place. Very new. Great food and amazing chicken tikka masala. Can't wait to go for more. And they have beer and wines too :) Thali (which is like one plate of food with many different food items) is divided into veg, non veg and they call it simple, complicated and extremely complicated - how cool?
