Tick-Tock has the most exciting ambience and feel of the 50s and 60s. It is quintessentially American. The food is EXCELLENT! I did have the Eggs Benny there and it did not fail to impress! Now, don't even think for a moment about customer service. I've learned that of everywhere in NYC. I've been to New York at least 8 times in the last 5 years because of my love for the city since I first went there in 1989. NYC people are typically brash. Take it or leave it and suck it up. That's how I deal with New Yorkers myself.

we recently stopped at this diner before a MSG concert. the waitress took our order promptly and then brought out 3 out our 4 dinners since they ran out of white bread to make a grilled cheese. the grilled cheese finally came out 7-10 minutes later. after we finished we had to wait another 10-15 minutes for the waitress to come back to pay. when she seated us she told us that should would get us out quickly since we were running a little late to get to the show, it wasn't busy at all and we were forgotten about twice.

If you want to have an encounter with a very very rude place, then please try theTick Tock Diner... I was shooed off my place, where I had been seated by an attendant, at a time when I was on the phone... imagine someone yelling in your ears which you are trying to have an official conversation.. that's how it is there.

The potatoes served as sides are fantastic. Portion sizes are big too, and food is fresh. A good place for breakfast, diner-style!

We went to the Tick Tock Diner on our honeymoon in Jan, it was great value and the Eggs Benedict were to die for. Can't wait to visit NY again and go back to the Tick Tock Diner!

At Tick Tock you get the 50's feeling. Great place. Good food!

Great place for a quick breakfast. Quick service and its clean. We made it our breakfast place of choice for the week we were there.
