Though I have always used Menupages, this is my first time actually writing a review of any restaurant. This was my first time at Tian and it was great! I had the salmon salad with edemame puree, which was amazing. We chose this place because we wanted to have a neighborhood gathering of parents and kids to watch a soccer game on ESPN. The staff was very accommodating, and the place is very spacious and clean for toddlers to run around. Plenty of space for strollers and there is a ramp. The view of the river and the GW bridge is great, and its possible to sit outside. I thought our kids would annoy the other brunch goers, but there was plenty of space, so Other parents in attendance also thought it was a great venue, with good food at a great place. Next time, I plan to try the fried chicken and waffles, which I hear is great. Note 1: This place is actually inside Riverbank State Park, so the address can be a little deceiving. You have to walk west past Riverside Drive on 145th out to the water, and it will be right there on your right near where the buses stop inside the park. If you are coming from the southern entrance, it will be on your left after the pools. Riverbank State Park has a lot of rules like no dogs, and I think no bikes, so best to read the state park rules, and/or call first. Note 2: I think Tian sometimes has events during the day on weekends, where people rent out the whole place. So if you are planning to stop by for brunch, best to make sure they are open. They also run a concession stand out their back window for people in the park. One parent said this food is great as well.
