    Pasta is good

their fried zuccuni is one of my favorite appetizer. I tried fried zuccuni in other diners, not even close to this one. Their pasta with brocolli, or spinach or other combination is really good and it comes in a big dish. Thier desert is plain and simple, nothing fancy.

    Best Broiled Filet of Sole!

They just revamped this restaurant so you must check out if you're a local. The Food is actually excellent, the fish is always FRESH! I've had several family functions here throughout the years and I must say its never failed us. The owners are super friendly and extremely accomodating. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick bite for an affordable price for generous portions.

    great value and great food

anyone who says the food here is tasteless has no taste buds. three star is like the food Mama made, its good food, with real value and flavor. its not "gourmet" fare- if thats what you want, go to Park Slope and be fleeced.

How can so many dishes be so tasteless?

Nice people but so sorely in need of someone in the kitchen who can cook. Although the quality of the ingredients seems fine, the preparation, lack of seasoning and finesse makes everything so tasteless that this has to be one of the worst diners in NY. Please get yourself some help in the kitchen!

    Three Star - totally underrated

I've been coming here since I was a teenager (1984). High School burgers on a Friday night, those were the days! I moved away from Brooklyn sometime ago, but do not miss a chance to come back bring friends and family and have a great meal. No matter what you have, the menu is extensive and always check out the specials! When they have Prime Rib on the specials don't miss it! You will not be disappointed. The owners will always great you with a smile. For "the extended family" you get a kiss and a hug - it's like "welcome back home". One of the new items that they added the last couple of years is soft shell crabs during the season - don't miss them either, they are fantastic! If you want a restaurant - though many folks consider it diner fare - you will be very surprised and enjoy everything! The staff is phenomonal, always attentive, always making sure that you are happy with your meal. Sit down, order something special or something new and you will definately NOT be disappointed. It may be called Three Star but it reaches the constellations for sure!
