I have to say the food was delicious. I had the "this way sandwich" the roast beef was tender, cheese was gooey goodness, the roll was slightly soggy but all together a great sandwich. The service is terrible. Took well over an hr to get my food. And they forgot an item. When I called to inform them, the guy on the phone was very unapologetic and said they forgot - he said could send them later but because it is so busy he told me it would probably take 2 hours!! If I wanted a refund, I had to do it myself through seamless because he was too busy to take care of this. Very good food with very poor service.

This place used to be really good. Good Sandwiches, nice size, super friendly and attentive staff. Over the last few months the portions have gotten smaller and not as tasty. I could probably live with that. But they changed their whole staffing. Now they have hip bar tender types that treat you like they don't care. I used to swing by on the way home, but lately I've passed on it because I don't want to deal with it. Tonight I tried ordering in, but the guy put me on hold while he chatted up some girl in the background. After about 15 minutes he decided to hang up on me. I called back to tell him how he... , but he decided to hang up on me in mid-sentence. I will go elsewhere from now on.

There is no denying the food here is great. The problem is you never know what 2 expect from the person answering the phone or delivery any more. I've been asked to, "hold on a sec" and the person just drops the phone, walks away for a few minutes. Delivery time can take up to an hour, when delivery takes so long you wind up with a luke warm soggy roll/hero. We had a delivery guy come back and ask for more money because the counter person screwed up the bill.

This place is roast beef heaven. Try the "that way". This is, by far, the best sandwich I have EVER had. I now order from them at least twice a week and will continue as long as my waistline allows.

The pastrami here is outstanding. It is as good as any other place in Manhattan (and that includes Katz's and the Second Avenue Deli). The roast beef is good, but the pastrami is something else. There is no place to sit. If you want to eat there, you have to stand at a counter.

my mouth waters just thinking of this little piggy! truly the best sandwich i have ever had in nyc! and the macaroni salad is also fantastic-its a must try and i guarantee it won't be your last time.

Delivery around 7pm. Fast, cheap, and good. Guy who took my order was friendly and efficient. Love it.
