    Needs knowledgeable staff

I have been to Therapy Wine Bar a few times and have had wonderful service. I love the ambiance. It has a nice intimate vibes and is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life because of this I gave them two stars. I went to Wine Bar with my family for a nice after dinner drink to catch up and relax. Three stars were lost because management needs to do a better job of screening the staff that they hire to be bartenders or wait staff or at least make it a requirement for them to receive some form of orientation on the menu and at have some knowledge of wines. I asked the waitress for a description of the wine cocktails that were listed on the menu (There is no description or indication of what is in each drink on the menu) and also which ones are sweeter. The waitress responded and said she does not know and I asked her to find out from the person who makes it what is in the drink and she responded that she makes the drinks. How does a specialty bar have staff that does not know what is in their 6 specialty wine cocktails I also do not understand how a wine bar runs out of Riesling? There are liquor stores on every corner of Brooklyn stock up on something as a temporary replacement until your regular brand is restocked. It wasn’t a busy night so there was no excuse.

    debate date nite

just recently went here for the 1st time on the nite of the Presidential Debate... they had a "debate nite watch party"... it was fun, nice crowd,LOTS of cute women just 'hanging out'...drinks were good&strong, not expensive... two bar appetizers and 4 drinks = $80. Therapy has been here for a couple-0-years now....wish i had found it sooner...shame on ME since it's right in my own neighborhood. (nostalgic note: the location used to be a barbershop years ago where i used to get my haircut when i was a little kid)

Therapy for wine lovers and everyone else

Went here with my wife for valentines day this year. they had a great fondue and champagne special. the vibe was very chill and relaxed (perfect for a wine bar named 'therapy'. Our waitress was very friendly and gave us plenty of time to pick our orders. The music was not too loud for the place either...it seemed just the right volume to foster conversation. The food bites that we grabbed were the pear mixed greens salad and the crab cake sliders. Both were delicious! The only thing, as others have observed, is that the plates came out separately. This wasn't that big of a deal as there were only two of us and we were happily enjoying our time together. The fondue was delicious as well. We plan on coming back and enjoying some wine at Therapy soon. Check out this place, relax, and enjoy the vibe, food, and wine!

    Cozy wine bar!

Great wine selection and cozy setup inside and out on deck! I love their wine flights, nice cheese and food selection, can't wait to try their brunch.
