Best chicken roll that you'll forget about the folks across the street!
So after many miserable experiences across the street, my friend and I decided to give this place a go for some late night food. I had the chapli roll and my friend had the lamb roll. Both were exceptional. The cook took time to prepare our rolls perfectly. The parantha was crispy and not oily like the folks across the street. The quality of the ingredients are fresh and tasty. Their rolls are so so so super yum that I'm now 4 months preggers and craving a chapli roll as I write this review.

Fresh, tasty and cheap.
Tiny place--I generally get things here as take out. The menu offers foods that are more snacks than meals, but they manage to stave off hunger without being too heavy. (I don't know if I'm expressing this well--it's not diet food, but it's also not the sort of food for which one feels self-recrimination the next day.) Anyway, the food is made from fresh ingredients, as you order it, and it's very tasty.

Fantastic flavors
I grew up in Calcutta and the moori here is the best I've had outside of the moori served by the street guys that used to sell outside Victoria Memorial before they were cleared out years ago that I had as a kid. The puchka water needs more masala but still not bad. Space is a bit cramped though, don't go when it's busy unless you plan to eat out--there's virtually nowhere to sit. Go here, there's nothing like it in the city.

Amazing Indian Cart Food
Delish! I ordered the Chicken Malai Roll & it was amazingly flavorful. All the ingredients were super fresh and it was cooked and spiced to perfection (you can request how spicy you'd like it), all for only $4.50. The roll was snack size yet sizable enough to silence my rumbling stomach. Go and eat at THELEwala. You won't be disappointed.
