    Avoid This Overpriced Mediocre Restaurant

Friend and I arrived for dinner. Bar crowded but restaurant practically empty. After dinner, understood why. Waited ten mins. to get menu. Waitress sweet but bumbling and totally inept. Appetizer salad, which we shared, came with two tiny plates barely big enough to hold a dinner roll. Then ordered crusp skin salmon. Portion was miniscule and almost raw. Small objects on plate were identifird by the waitress as potatoes. Surprise...they were nasty undercookef little beets. Paid $102 check and ran out, determined never to return.

    Where is the water?

Just went there last night. They never refilled our water glasses. My husband took the water jar from the service station next to our table and poured water for all of us. No waiter even noticed! My filet mignon was great, but the service was very poor. Very noisy too.

    Expensive

Nice place, there are a lot of similar places in New York. Drinks are overpriced: $38 for a glass of non vintage Perrier Jouet champagne. I will go somewhere else next time
