Visited on a quieter Wednesday; my date and I had the king's pick of seats. Even with only one gorgeous woman working the entire floor, we were well looked after. Not too much, not too little, juuuust right. Drinks were incredibly delicious, as was the food. We had a slider trio and a fantastic chickpea dish that came with chips. Drinks we chose: Smoking Revolver- delightfully smokey & Subway Rumbles-incredibly satisfying is the only way to put it. Neither were too sweet and each were creative and nicely presented. I am really looking forward to going back with a small group of good friends for a decadent, private living room sort of feeling cocktail party.

Skip this bar. My biggest problem with the bar was its service. Drinks were incredibly slow. This is hands down the poorest service I've had in any bar in New York. (Except for the door man--that guy was cool.) The decor made the bar seem promising, but the drinks were far too sweet. I was expecting speakeasy-level drinks and was sorely disappointed. This is a much older crowd that I would have expected at a Nolita bar.
