The foo and atmosphere d here is great. Fairly reasonable prices and food taste great. The service here does need to improve. Recommend to all!

I ordered three dishes from the V Spot. An hour later, two of them showed up (I was charged fro all three). I live a few blocks the the V Spot. There's no reason for it to take as long as it did, when I only received 2/3 of what I ordered. What sort of restaurant charges people for what they don't receive? I can't even imagine what sort of a confused kitchen would allow such a mistake. As a vegetarian, I would love for a great restaurant to set up in Park Slope. The V Spot is not that restaurant.

As a longtime vegan, I had been meaning to eat at V Spot for some time. I was a little concerned by some of the reviews on here, but finally found the right occasion to try it. And I was very pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere is the right mix of thoughtful and casual, food was very good (had the California Burger with salad and fries -- my tablemates enjoyed their food as well, though can't remember what they ordered), and the service was okay (not great, but not as bad as some other reviewers have claimed). All in all, it was a pleasurable dining experience and I plan to return.

I've been eating here regularly since it opened a few years back. The food is consistently good and the service is consistently subpar. The recent renovation has made the atmosphere slightly less cave-like, but it's definitely dark and depressing inside. Be prepared to be ignored by the servers who always seem like it's their first day ever waiting tables. It's good to check in with them and remind them what your order is and how long you've been waiting. Despite all this, I eat here a couple of times a month because I *love* the food. Just don't go if you're in a rush or a bad mood.

Such a shame that the service is so abhorrent at this place. The food is good, brunch is great. We didn't like waiting 40 minutes for our appetizer though, and especially did not appreciate the lack of concern from our waiter. There are too many other good restaurants where the service is decent to return here.

i only ordered a wrap and it took an hour and 40 minutes. the distance from my home to their 7th ave location is 8 minutes. when i called at 30 minute intervals, all i was told was that there was a rush that night and that it would be here in 5 minutes. i'm a lenient person in general, but give me a break.

I have tried just about everthing on the menu and love it all. The one problem is I live in Queens and have to travel all the way to Brooklyn. Please open a location in the LIC, Sunnyside or Woodside area!
