You could wait on line for an hour at Tom's or...
You could go to this awesome, real deal NYC diner. Any real New Yorker knows the importance of a good diner. Good food, nice-sized portions, laid back waiters and inexpensive prices. In a word (or two), the Usual. Don't believe the hype - stop waiting on ridiculous lines in the blazing sun or freezing cold to get a product that's over priced and often not even that good. The Usual doesn't have a ton of kitschy crap on the walls, but you can get delicious scrambled eggs and bacon for under $5 bucks and, as hilarious as a picture of David Hasselhoff or somebody on the wall might be, it doesn't make for a good meal.

The Usual is the best!
I love this restaurant! The food is always so delicious and fresh. Not only is their breakfast awesome, but their lunch and dinners are great too. Not only do they serve tasty burgers and sandwiches, but they also offer all different kinds of wonderful salads and wraps. It's the best place in town!

Definitely not just usual
We go here every Sunday for breakfast and it is our favorite place in Brooklyn! The owner and his brother treat everyone like family, the food is delicious and quick, and the value is great - before 10:30 they include coffee and juice, and many items are under $6.

No Delivery with Credit cards!
They do not take credit cards over the phone for deliveries. I was looking forward to it. yikes!

my usual place
the best food in park slope,,,great service,,,stuff and owners are always smiling...delivery on time ..clean ,spacious ,,,,,,,,,numero uno bergers,,,( i swear)

Tasty, Friendly Neighborhood Spot
The Usual has a standard diner menu, but is so much better than most. I've had brunch there three times or so and have always found the food to be really good. Mostly I've gotten the burgers and bacon-eggs-potatoes-and-toast plates, which are both very well executed. They have very good black-and-white milkshakes at the Usual, too. It's a cute place with lots of energy. I highly recommend it.
