Cute unexpected find
Lovely little place, comfort (french inspired) food, just a hop out of the over priced meat packing district.

Exceeded my expectations
Went here for dinner with a friend- thought it might be a coffee shop- it is a lovely french cafe/bistro with delicious food, wine and of course tea. The server recommended the veggie burger to my vegetarian friend and she said it was one of the best she ever had. I recommended the other entrees too. Can't wait to return

Disappointing lunch experience
On ordering the daily special, Whole wheat linguini with chicken, we waited 30 minutes to get Macaroni with chicken. The waitress was completely unapologetic and described it as a "language barrier" - whatever that means. Even though the owner was present and said he's sorting through the issue, we didn't hear the word sorry and had to pay the entire amount.

Biggest fan on the block! ;D
This is a hidden gem in NYC! Esp, the West Village! Delicieux (So Delicious) in the AM or PM! Great for Vegetarians or Carnivores...The wine is so fine & drinks like Mojito champagne! And finish w/ yummy tea. The owner is Fantastic! Go for a date, girls night dinner...Always a Good Time! (;

So much potential but...
The Tea Set is adorable and, at times, has excellent food and service. But it's highly inconsistent. You could have a great salad and a happy, upbeat server one day and then a disappointing experience the next. The latter makes you never want to return. Attitude I can handle, but they really need to work out their kitchen-- which is seemingly unsupervised for quality control.

New West Village Favorite
Fresh and delicious! Some really great dishes. We've had dinner on a number of occasions, as well as breakfast (the organic ham & cheese croissant w/ béchamel sauce is my new West Village brunch favorite). Always a very welcoming and relaxing experience.

Veggie Croque Croissant
I stumbled upon this place a few days ago and was very pleasantly surprised. Great little lunch spot, great service and the Veggie Croque Croissant was a piece of heaven. Will definitely be going back!
