Loved it & will return ASAP

Went with a large (12) group of people on a Saturday night. Hung out by the bar (Strongbow on tap!) making small talk while waiting for everyone to arrive and was mesmerized by the awesome projection video playing on the wall. Our group sat at a long table in the back (outside!) and ordered one of everything on the menu. The waitress was extremely nice especially when dealing with so many drink orders. The food came out fast and was delicious, I would recommend everything on the menu! Considering all the food and drinks we ordered we couldn't believe how cheap the bill was. I will definitely be back!

    Go There and Moo...

We randomly picked restaurant, and it was... BINGO! As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted by the waitress/hostess. (I was charmed by her cute australian accent). We sat in the unusual but very cozy courtyard. Menu isn't long but very... colorfull. The food.... They have best fries I've ever had in NYC. Salad with avocado and pecan nuts was the pleasure for the eye and mouth. My entree was the lamb from Oz. There are no words to describe how tender it was. Drinx were perfectly mixed. Considering what (and how much) we ate the price was more than reasonable. If you go there, make sure you ask about their Mondays :)

Just like Oz . . mostly

As a native New Yorker who now lives in Australia, this place is great! Perfect for Sunday brunch (get there early or make a reservation). The never-ending momosas are so delicious, and they are they serve the best french fries. The Aussie Burger with the lot is authentic Australian, and filling. Perfect portion sizes, nice waitstaff. All they need on the menu are Tim Tams.

    Extremely Satisfied..one of the best

I recently went on a Monday night..almost everything on the menu is 5 dollars. Even if it's not Monday, prices are very reasonable. My first Australian restaurant visit. the food was delicious (we had shrimp & barra fish)- small portion, but just enough if you have a drink or dessert or salad with it. The cocktail was great, the dessert also great...Not too loud, not too quiet; quite dark inside though..maybe that's how they keep the prices low. Service was great. This place is actually one of the better if not best restaurants I've been to in the city. I would definitely recommend this place. I'm definitely going back soon for brunch!

I thought this place was great....the food was SO good (especially the lamb and also the chicken skewers). Service was great...atmosphere was interesting. A must-visit NYC restaurant.

    Home Away From Home

As an often homesick Aussie girl living in the big smoke of NYC I was so excited when I first stumbled upon this place. I have been back numerous times since and always drag along a new bunch of friends. I even had my birthday there last year. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the food is as good as it gets this far from home (especially at these prices). The pav is not as good as my mum's but it is definitely a good substitute, and as a girl use to the freshest and best reef fish in the world the barra is pretty tasty. As for the burger anyone who puts beetroot, pineapple and egg on top deserves to go to heaven in my book and I love the kiwi-fruit twist to the calamari. Oh and the cocktails are to die for.

Great Place for a party! Super Staff!

I had my 25th party at this place on a Saturday evening, everything went really well. It was able to cater for a party of 35 people with no problems and for a decent price! The food was awesome, the service just INCREDIBLE, and even the music was rocking 80s (as per my request for we had a themed party). We were all stuffed silly and the drinks were a novelty. The desserts were a huge HIT! We had pavlova lovers, or lamington lovers, or both! The staff were very friendly, and they made sure the food was coming out, and that no one was thirsty! They just kept on being nicer and nicer! All my friends loved the place and would go back anytime. It was the most perfect place to have a party especially for a large group of people. The price was most reasonable for the amount of food given, and the atmosphere was nice too. We basically had the whole back room to ourselves which was really nice. The general manager and the manager on the night were excellent! Thanks for everything!
