    No regrets

Stopped by for the first time to get out of the heat. The service was prompt, beer was cold and the burgers we ate excellent. Not the grease gut busting size many places brag about serving. The french fries still had the skin and were delicious. Lots of TVs so it was easy to view the game from any seat in the house.

    Not recommended

I was impressed with how bad this bar is. The food was disappointing, the beer was hot (?) and the service is poor.

    Great Bar Food

The Stumble in is secretly one of my favorite bar food spots in all of Manhattan. Their stuffed burgers are great, filled with gooey cheese in each bite! Pretty much everything you order on the menu is solid plus they have Tater Tots! How many places offer Tater Tots? Not many. And they're usually crispy outside and soft and hot inside. Lots of cold beer on tap, plenty of TVs for watching sports and the staff is fun and friendly. The only downside to the place is that it's a college bar and it gets jammed with kids, especially during big sporting events. Sometimes it's fun, sometimes a bit annoying. Also, it usually has a constant steam of ear-pounding music going at all times, which is great if you're 21 years old. Still, I find myself stumbling in often!

Competition for Shake Shack's Hot Dog

The Double Down is one of the best hot dogs in the city second only to the Shake Shack Chicago dog. The fried zucchini was slamming and the buffalo chicken wrap was also very good. Stay away from the tater tots they are a bit greasy. But overall awesome place to hang out with great drink specials, good food and they have Big Buck Safari, foosball and beer pong.
