My mother and I had gone to SS last year and she loved the food - our waitress was great and we had a wonderful time. She came into town again a few weeks ago and was really excited to return. This time, the food was brought out way too fast, to the point that we had to practically hold our water glasses to fit everything on the table at once. It literally took us only 20 minutes from the time the first dish came until the last was finished. It was still really yummy, but it was not a "dining experience" and we felt like we were pushed out the door. I'll take her, and all my other guests, somewhere else next time.

great brunch. A little pricey for the size of the plate but everything we tried was great.

Food, service, and atmosphere were all very good. Everyone was very nice. I would definitely recommend, but the late night parking rules are ridiculous. Four different parking signs on one pole... and even though it doesn't look like you can get a ticket after 11pm.. the city of ny will get you after midnight

Very tasty, expected typical NYC LES trendy fair, found food to be hearty and tasty all round. Great bennedict, pancakes, fries, brusketa, and dough nuts. Go early for tables. Had 5 courses and coffee for under $50. Would return for future meals. Brunchman

Went there for the third time last night. Had an unfortunate experience. While the food is great and the desserts are amazing, the service and atmosphere is terrible. My wife, my in-laws, and I got there at 5:30pm on a Sunday. It took us forever to get our drinks and food. The service got alot better once my father-in-law complained and the food is quite tasty but I wouldn't go back. The space is too big, noisy, and hectic. I've reccommended this restaurant to many people, but I won't do it again.

Stanton Social is one of my top 5 "go to" restaurants in NYC. It has a fun and cool atmosphere with a trendy decor and upbeat music. The food is great! I highly recommend the onion soup dumplings, duck empanadas, kobe philly steaks and more. Great place for sharing so you can try a bunch of different things on the menu. Great mixed drinks and bottles of champagne for fair prices! Definitely worth it to try this restaurant- downstairs is nice for a romantic dinner for 2 as well. Upstairs is more loungey where you can sit on cushions and order some appetizers. I highly recommend this restaurant- I have been there about 5 times with all different ppl and everyone has only had the best things to say about it! Have fun!

i went to the stanton social for the first time this summer and finally made my way back tonight. for the second time the food and service did not disappoint. i ate in the lounge upstairs and had to be rolled down the stairs on the way out. everything from the kobe beef burgers, onion soup, zucchini tempura, and even the chicken waffles was amazing. each dish was inventive and burst of flavor in your mouth. word around town is that the owners are making plans for a new restaurant... please keep me informed! this is by far one of my favorite places in the city!
