This is easily the coolest-looking restaurant in the LES. The design is fantastic and very classy. The menu was strangely all over the place, a hodgepodge of cuisines that lacked focus. The french onion soup dumplings are not to be missed, but I wasn't impressed by much else. Snapper tacos were especially dry. The service was friendly (and very good-looking), but slow and sloppy. Our drinks took forever to arrive at the table, and the pinot gris I ordered arrived as a pinot noir (oops). I think the place could be great if they tightened the menu and hired a more service-oriented staff. For now, it's still a fun place to go for drinks and bites with friends, but it's too bad the restaurant doesn't live up to its ambience.

I long for the day when the newest and "hippest" spot also delivers with great food and service. While the interior is cool, the service was lacking and the food was okay. This place has been done over and over and over again.

Went there 2 times, not worth the price and wait. Food very small, service way too slow. Expensive. Design is nice but not for east side area.

Everything on the menu looked great. and the atmosphere was brilliant. Can't wait to go back to try some more of the dishes.

Zucchini tempura--bland, don't order. Potato pierogies--delicious. Duck empanadas--nothing special, but if you like empanadas, go ahead. Lobster, chorizo and artichoke paella cakes--delicious, the best thing on the menu. Dry rubbed chipotle shrimp--exactly what it says it is. Red snapper tacos--good! Very meaty. Herb dusted frites--delicious and spicy and crunchy! Baby spinach--it is what it is, don't get it. Lobster rolls with old bay potato chips--just one, the roll is not good, not worth getting. Wasabi pea crusted wild salmon--okay. The noodles were good but a little bland.

I went to Stanton Social with a group of friends. We had to wait a long time to be seated but the wait was worth it! Bar area is great. Food was yummy and great for sharing. Overall we had a great time.

The interior is cool, big expensive plants and wood finish, and the waiters wear black, but the portions are minimal. They'll explain that everything is "appetizer sized" and "is meant to be shared", but what they really mean is all the entrees are really small and will leave you hungry. They should really just charge twice as much for everything and make everything twice as yummy.
