The food here is absolutly fantastic! The portions are not big, but it is Tapas style....So don't expect gorge yourself. Went on a date and ordered 5 items, 4 drinks and desert...Total was 120 including tip. Not that bad. The sweet n sour chicken spring rolls are a must; Spicy snapper tacos were off the charts and don't even get me started on the meatballs! The bacon & blue cheese pizata and the Lobster ceviche cakes were different, but very tasty. Trust me, order the warm Doughnuts! They come with 3 sweet dipping sauces and they melt in you mouth. I will for sure go back!

Food was good, but as an UES-er, I would not travel downtown for it again any time soon. The atmosphere, decor, etc. are nice, but do not do much to make up for the service, which went from bad to rude to unacceptable. In Manhattan, a great nice out and a good experience should not be mutually exclusive. Expect waits and attitude like every other "hot" spot soon to fizzle out for sure.

Went here for 7.45 seats. Arrived 7.15 and had a drink upstairs and they collected us for our table on time. Lovely round booth table, perfect if you are 3. Favourite foods include the ceviche, snapper tacos, spicy tuna rolls. Tasty little complimentary starter with drinks of white beans and parmesan. All in all with 4 glasses of wine it was 150 including tip so we thought good value for the level of detail in all the food. Highly recommend.

Cool place! Food was good! This is just the type of trendy place that will impress friends or a date. I will be back. Oh - and the donuts are AMAZING. I know you think it is crazy - but they are!

I had heard so many good things about this place, I was ridiculously excited to go. Unfortunately, my excitement was squashed the moment we walked through the door. On time for our 8pm reservations, we were told there would be a 15 minute wait. Fine, we'll pop upstairs and get a drink and you'll come get us. Sure we will. Ummm...no. After checking back three times with a rude hostess, we decided to eat at the bar at 10:15pm! 2 hours and 15 mins WITH a reservation and STILL no table. I will not return. That said, if you do want to test your luck with the poor hostess service, our cocktail waitress was very sweet and the food was pretty good (and reasonably priced). Still, nothing would have made up for the seating experience. Sad too - seemed like a cute spot.

Finally a place that lives up to the hype. Expensive drinks? check. (but balanced by the very friendly priced menu) Good looking people? check. (including most of the staff) Great food? check. (not everything...but some things..wow) Solid service? check. (well at least plentiful and attitude-free) French onion soup dumplings were spot-on yummy. genius. It's worth going here just to see the amazing space and eat these. Red Snapper Tacos & Meatballs also outrageous. Pork Loin with spicy caramel..OMG! The hyped kobe sliders were "good" and the ravioli so-so. donuts another OMG! 4 of us, just under $200 with tip, and then drinks upstairs in the breathtaking (but hot) lounge. Our waitress was cute & vivacious (if a little unpolished), and all in all a good experience in the lower east side wasteland of attitude and poor food.

This is easily the coolest-looking restaurant in the LES. The design is fantastic and very classy. The menu was strangely all over the place, a hodgepodge of cuisines that lacked focus. The french onion soup dumplings are not to be missed, but I wasn't impressed by much else. Snapper tacos were especially dry. The service was friendly (and very good-looking), but slow and sloppy. Our drinks took forever to arrive at the table, and the pinot gris I ordered arrived as a pinot noir (oops). I think the place could be great if they tightened the menu and hired a more service-oriented staff. For now, it's still a fun place to go for drinks and bites with friends, but it's too bad the restaurant doesn't live up to its ambience.
