Best of both worlds - food and comedy
New restaurant, bar, and stand up comedy joint. Very tasteful decor with exposed brick, reclaimed wood, tin ceiling, and velvet bar stools. The restaurant is upstairs and then the comedy stage is downstairs. The menu is upscale comfort food served in very large portions. Really excellent chicken pot pie in a bread bowl, crab cake sandwiches, tater tot nachos, and pizza empanadas. You can get a nicely made cocktail here too. The comedy downstairs depends on who's performing, but the night we went we had a great time despite not knowing any of the comics ahead of time. Was a very friendly vibe. There is no 2 drink minimum or anything like that, but you can order a lot of same food from the upstairs restaurant menu. I'll definitely make this a destination for stand up shows, and keep it in mind as a good option for drinks and dinner in the nabe. Actually, would also be good for a date night, with or without the comedy show.

best food ever at a comedy club
usually i don't expect much from comedy clubs in the way of food and drinks... but the stand was so good, i'll come back even if i'm not seeing a show. tuna tartare cannolis, peking duck pizza and the truffle mac and cheese were the definite favorites in my group. and the specialty cocktails were perfectly strong with really interesting ingredients. amazing addition to the neighborhood!
