There are times when you walk into a restaurant, though service might be a little off, food not as delicious, but you still feel the reason for the place's existence. It might be just a perfect place for the community or a cool hanging out spot. The spot is truly not a spot to check out. I went there with my wife. We are big food people. We ordered surf and turf and the roasted chicken. It took us more than 45 minutes to get our order on our table. Everything tasted the same with an overwhelming, overpowering, salty kick of goya processed seasoning. Everything was overcooked. I do not write reviews because I feel I am wrong to devalue or praise a restaurant based on one time experience. This time, it needs to be done.

Wow .....my husband and I had dinner here last week and I must say the food was awesome! The resturant has a flat screen tv that needs upgrading especially if ur going to have the NBA playoff games on. But besides that the food came out piping hot and fresh. The garlic cheese bread is to die for ...... Great portions and flavor. My husband is looking forward to another date night at The Spot! Keep up the good work and we will become regulars for sure!

I have no idea what some of these people are talking about my food was Delicious. I only had one dish but WOW did I love it. That lobster sauce had me sucking my finger after I finished licking them. I have never been in the place we ordered so I have no idea about atmosphere or service but the delivery guy was pleasant if that helps. I had the jumbo shrimp with their signature lobster sauce and today I am about to order the grilled Atlantic salmon in lobster sauce. I had a dream about the food and that is not like me I have never been a big lover of food I eat to live never live to eat. Well that is my 2 cents and I am also not the kind to write a review but I just turned 40 and decided to step out my box and do things different. Hope my review helps good luck and happy eating I am waiting for my bell to ring while I tape this review.

I rarely feel compelled to write reviews, but this brunch was so poor, I needed to share. For $13, the mimosas were great, but I would much rather have fewer mimosas or pay a couple dollars more if it meant having edible food. The bacon was so chewy, it felt like beef jerky and I couldn't finish it. The omellettes we each got were rubbery and the fillings weren't evenly dispersed and the food was practically cold when we got it. The only reason why I left a decent tip was that the waiters were still really friendly and working in the food industry, I couldn't screw them over completely. But seriously, there are so many better spots than this. The mimosas don't make up for the food, so don't waste your money on brunch here.

I have been to this neighborhood spot a few times now and love it for brunch. I always get the Mexican eggs and unlimited mimosas. The staff is always friendly and I have never had poor service.

I love the pork chops. And the brunch specials are great.

There have been restaurants at this location that were really disappointing. I think that some folks just don't realize how good the food is here. I also found the service very friendly. I did not have to wait any longer for my food than I would have anywhere else in the nabe. I will definitely continue to patronize this place.
