    A must try

This place is great. I have gone for both brunch and dinner many times and loved everything I had. The service is attentive and the owner makes everyone feel welcome. The ownership has not changed-the earlier reviewer is plain wrong. If you are looking for a great meal, warm service, in a great atmosphere, this is the place for you. Highly recommended.

    Great Litte Place

I stopped in for a quick dinner the other day and loved it. It's a great place to get a burger, some mac & cheese, and a great milkshake. I had the best black and white I've had in a long time. The service is friendly and accomodating, and it's a nice relaxed athmosphere that makes you forget that you're in a big city.

Subpar Food but Cute little place

This is the second time I've eaten here and the food is foul. If you are looking for a really cute place to have a milkshake then this is where to go. However don't eat. I'm not sure what is the matter with the oil they use to cook their food in but I'm pretty sure it hasn't been changed since the place opened. The "fries" that you get with your sandwiches are about 4 mini wedges that are yellow and you can smell the grease coming off the plate. My "5" chicken fingers were 3 chicken fingers cut into 5 pieces and the chicken was dry, rubbery and gray! I sent it back and got a grilled cheese that was so soggy and stale that I couldn't eat the crust. Go to a diner...it's cheaper and better quality food...

    Amazingly bad cookies

Yes, it's got a lot of nostalgia and good for the stroller set, but the desserts are just bleh. The chocolate chip cookie I had was amazingly bad - not only burnt but burnt and stale, with a really off taste. That pretty much was my first impression of this place as we just went for dessert. Ice cream was just ok, too, nothing great, nothing special. Won't be back.

    Overrated.

When the soda shop first opened I loved it. It went down hill. The service is just terrible. Portions tiny and prices went up. I think the manager has changed. The original owner is no longer there.

    great coke floats

Visited this place this morning. While it was a bit chaotic due to the stroller set (a natural for any place specializing in ice cream) the decor was nice and the prices were reasonable. While the omelet I tried was good, the cheeseburger was not however my coke float was delicious!

    Overrated

If you're looking for a place to get quick junk food, then this is the place. If you're looking for quality and atmosphere keep looking. The food quality was equal to a poor rest stop diner. My french toast was dry since it seemed to be missing the batter. the rest of the dishes were equally disappointing. Nice attempt at recreating a scene but they need to hire a chef!!
