You will not be overfed at The Shop. Each item we ordered was delicious. The portions are not large and mid-town is certainly not an inexpensive area to dine. Its location across from the NYPLibrary is great. I require special eating needs and the waiter was very solicitous.

Spectacular addition to the N.Y. Public Library area. The food was fresh and well-prepared and the service impeccable. It will be a regular for me.

I dined at The Shop for lunch and must say the atmosphere is a welcome addition to the midtown lunch scene. The tomato soup was hearty and delicious. The seared salmon small plate had a nice presentation and the black pepper on the crust was great but the salmon was drenched in butter or oil. Overall a good experience.

Great taste, great atmosphere - nice and quick bite in midtown.
