    Amazing food

I am shocked that this place does not get higher reviews. I have been here twice and both times our meals were delicious. We came on a Friday night with no reservation and the hostess said she could seat us in about 20 mins. She kept coming over to update us on our table which was nice. We sat at the bar to wait and ordered cocktails which unfortunately was the only downside to our meal. They gave special bar nuts though which were amazing. Once seated in one of their best tables (the hostess said it was her favorite) I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs which was yum. The tomato sauce was thick and tasty, the meatballs were good and the pasta was handmade and cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the beef carpacio and chicken with spezel and both were very good. We finished with panacotta which I was hesitant because I don't usually like the texture of panacotta but it was to die for! I was upset I didnt order one for myself! The only downside to this place is the atmosphere. There isn't much but if you want good Italian this is the place to go!

Overpriced food (semi nice decor though)

I went last night with a party of friends. I'm from Rome by the way, so I will try to give you an honest review. The good: the music, the staff is nice, the martinis are good and the decor is semi trendy (not super though, a bit like NY circa 2005). The bad (very bad): the food and the wine list. Almost everything (except for an antipasto of cheese and assorted salumi - which is hard to mess anyways) was disappointing. The only decent other thing was the dessert bomb. For the rest, the antipasti, primi (pasta) and entrees were a disaster. The very disappointing: The prices. It's incredible that a place like this, with this quality and these portions would charge this much. I guess they only charge for the decor, since the food is a disgrace. Don't waste your time or your money going there if you want a nice meal or dinner. If you want a drink then it may be an OK choice. Otherwise, just don't bother.

    Great Restaurant

OUTSTANDING! Perfection! Had the branzino and the fileto de manzo- Cooked to perfection. The desserts are to die for and the wine selections are fantastic. Thank you for a lovely experience.

    Quite impressed!

We stopped in relatively early on Saturday (9pm) and asked the bartender if we could dine at the bar. He excused himself briefly to speak with an unknown, suited figure. He then returned with the dinner menu in hand and smiled warmly, stating, "I'm glad to let you know that our entire menu is available to you tonight." My husband and I love to eat at the bar in NYC. This night, was one of our absolute fondest! The bartender recommended a lovely array of cheese, cured meats, gnocci and lasagna that were just flat out awesome! The Quattro Spritzer and assortment of wine by the glass was equally pleasant. Thanks for surprising us....

    Nice italian restaurant in Soho!

We dined at Quattro on a Friday opening night, so they were quite busy. The food was good; the branzino perectly cooked, the spaguetti al vongole was nice, veal milanesa were good, the semi frozen gianduja dessert the highlight of the evening, great dessert menu. Wine list was very good, the wait staff very knowledgable and attentive.
