    Best waffle

Loved the waffle with a little bit of a crispy edge, cakey but moist inside, sweet. Lovely fried chicken, too. Sweet staff.

    Not Recommended

What a disappointing adventure. Very small portions. One small pork shop served on a butter plate for $17.00 Ordered some sides that never arrived and still on the bill. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress she asked if i still wanted it, even though the table had been cleared. Forgot to bring the gravy until we were almost finished. Ordered chicken and waffles and received the chicken and then 5 minutes later came the waffle. Sides of mac and cheese and greens for $5.00 were the smallest portions I have ever seen. Interior of the resturant was cold and didn't look clean. For sure not a place I will go back to, too many other great resturants in NYC.

    Great smothered chicken!

That was the first time eating there but it wont be my last. I really enjoyed the food. My collards had a burnt taste and when I complained I was given a fresh serving right away. It was much better. The waffle was a little dry but the gravy from chicken was enough to moisten it up. The chicken was delicious. Fried really crispy and a gravy thrown over it. I really wanted more to take out but I know my limits. Thinking of taking my family for my birthday in a few weeks.

Friendly but needs a few upgrades...

I truly enjoyed the food..mac & cheese makes u want to slap ur mama. Needs 2 xcept credit cards, needs to serve sweet potato fries, biscuits or cornbread & a bit more renovation. The music is fantastic. Been a few times & have recommended to friends. Will continue to go and hope they make the needed upgrades, especially credit cards which would bring in more customers I think and the sweet potato fries which are better for you nutritionally.

    family place

I ate here with my family n didn't know whet to expect. To my surprise I felt right at home; on account that the waiter who happen to be a guy who is deck down n pink n jewelry made it fun just to order. "We call him the sassy waiter" his the best my wife n mother n law had a great birthday there. I just wish that menu was bigger. But it has enough choice to pick from. Very recommendable place. Food great chicken n collars n catfish w/Brits r great.

This is Not Southern or Good Business

Very disappointed with the new Pink Teacup! First off for a restaurant that espouses a southern cuisine to NOT have biscuits and to NOT have white gravy is absurd! But to then have a $100 minimum for a credit card is beyond the pale. Not to mention that both the chicken and waffles were dry! The server, bless her heart, tried to make us feel better, but the manager was unapologetic and surly! I, for one, will NEVER eat there again!
