    Subpar Food

This is a great place for a drink. Great atmosphere, but the food is not very good.

    very disatisfied customer

Problem #1: We were seated 45 minutes after our reservation time. Their excuse was that they were understaffed for the night -- they did not have enough waiters to serve the tables. So why did they allow me to make my reservation when they couldn't accomodate us?? Why should my party and I have to wait because they overbooked their restaurant? They didn't even have the decency to apologize or offer us something (i.e. better seats, drinks, appetizer, etc.) in return for our long wait! Problem #2: The chicken was sour! Not only was it a very small piece of chicken... But when I took one bite of the meat, it was sour! The overseasoning could not hide the fact that it tasted like it was left-over and microwaved prior to serving. Problem #3: When the chicken was returned, the manager was completely rude and refused to exchange the dish for something else. She also refused to refund the cost of the dish. My party consisted of young, well-educated professionals who frequently dine out in NYC. We were appalled by the service that this supposedly swanky restaurant provided! While we stayed calm and cordial throughout this entire ordeal, it was the manager, who was completely rude and unprofessional. Our waiter, was very polite and apologized on her behalf -- but not once did the manager showed one ounce of civility. I would NEVER dine here again!

    Plan for a long meal

This place is gorgeous inside. Especially if you dine out in the greenhouse area -- the atmosphere makes this place! The food is good, the menu is great with lots of different choices. However you'll be there for over an hour depending on your party size. I went this past weekend with two other people and it took 20 minutes just to get our drinks. Our food took another 30 minutes from order time. It's a great place to go, and we'll definately be back (in fact we have reservations for this coming weekend!)...but just keep in mind the service isn't 5 star.

    Good food - long wait

Went here on Saturday night for dinner. Had a reservation for 14 people at 8pm. Didn't get seated until 9.30pm after we suggested that they split our group into 2 as everybody was getting very hungry. They informed us that the previous table had been there for 3.5 hours and didn't' know when they were leaving. (They had a WEDDING cake on their table, so it wouldn't take Einstein to figure out that they were not in a rush to leave. There were a lot of other vacant tables around the place. In saying that, when we did get seated the food was good and the servers/staff were very friendly.

    A stellar dining experience!

Enjoyed an amazing dinner here with my in-laws recently. Everything was stellar - the appetizers & beet/goat cheese salad, each of our entrees - the salmon, chicken, pasta & paella - were mouthwateringly yummy, & the dessert was fabulous. The service was OK, our waittress just started but was luckily helped along by the very personable and helpful managers and busboy. The space is awesome...we were looking at private rooms for an event we're having & they have great spaces. They're a little out of our price range for a private event, but we'd come back here to eat in a heartbeat. Note, we went on a Sunday night and it was very quiet...we were told it becomes a club on the weekends, which may affect your experience if you come on a Fri/Sat night.

Great atmosphere and thats about it

It would be unfair to say this is a "bad" restaurant. They have wonderful decor and pretty decent although somewhat overpriced for the kind of food they serve. But the service is undeniably poor. Its almost comical. We made a lunch reservation for 12 people several days in advance. There was 1 waitress fot the whole restaurant. She was never rude just....clueless is the best word I can come up with. We were there 50 minutes before our drinks arrived. Our 2nd round was brought to the table at the same time as the check because she didnt bring them with our meals. I would go back just for a drink and to socialize because its a nice place to relax. Wouldnt go for lunch or dinner.
