Expensive But Worth It
The restaurant itself is neat and clean with huge windows, with a fabulous 2nd floor view of Central Park. There were two of us and we both enjoyed our 3 course meals. The Onion Soup Gratinee was fantastic, as was Mrs Helmsley's Chopped Salad (which was the best salad my husband had ever had) for starters. The NY Steak Au Poivoire was amazing (although a little too much peppercorns for me) and the Gorgonzola Browned Beef Tenderloin was the same. Desserts were fantastic. The service was great and all were very attentive. We've been here a couple of times now and still recommend it.
