Best in and out of Manhattan

I have been going to The Palm Too since I was very young, and I have been to all the big name steakhouses in and out of the city. I can honestly say that it tops them all in my book. The atmosphere is very layed back and comfortable. The waiters are very old school and great spirited. They have a great menu for all appetites, and you don't have to stick to the menu, they will make you anything you want.....anything. Amazing family style sides. Ideal meal: Order of "Half &Half", Chopped Onion & Tomato Salad w/ their delicious homemade bleu cheese, Side of Creamed Spinach and garlic Mashed Potatos for the table, and Filet Mignon (or for the non-steak people, their massive Chicken Parm). I highly recommend it to anyone.

We have been eating at the Palm for many years and this past week, we ate at the Palm Too and were very unhappy with the whole experience. The waitor served us cold food. We had to send everything back including the cottage fries. I think we've had it with the Palm.

    Overrated Steak

I would have to say after reading the reviews, I was hyped up about the place. I was disappointed. We got seated at a table in the middle of the room where we got bumped into a couple of times...it was too crowded to sit a table of 4 and food was not the best. Steak was overcooked, overall won't go back again...i had better steak.

    Our Home Away From Home

My wife and I have been going to Palm Too for over twenty years. The staff treat us like family and always go out of their way to make us feel comfortable and share a tale. We truly enjoy almost all their food. Pasta dishes are great, cream spinach, potatoe dishes and of course the steak Calamari is a great way to begin a meal as well as the baked clams.. They will usually make something off the menu if we ask. Drinks are good and coffee items one of the best we have found in NY. We LOVE Palm Too!!Thank you.

    Amazing all around!

Food was fantastic -- ribeye and creamed spinach are my favorites -- professional yet warm service, cozy atmosphere, and an incredible lunch deal!

Had the 6 pound lobster special- 6 pound lobster, 2 salads, 2 sides, 2 coffees, $90.00 It was great! there were 4 of us, we had more food than we could consume.(2 specials). Only complaint is that the room is noisy-typical for this type of restaurant, but also it was warm. The air conditioning was not sufficient for the warm muggy evening. Overall, however, a great meal.

    It's About Time

Several of my co-workers and I had lunch at the Palm Too. It was fantastic, from the salad to the dessert and for the price, unbelieveable. They also give you enough food so that you leave full and have enough to dine on when you get back to the office. The service was fast . I'd definitely eat here again and again and again. Loved the picutres on the wall.
