Delicious
We just went there thanks to Grupon, and had a really delicious dinner. Steak Tartar Flatbread was mind-blowing, as well as the filet mignon wraps and tuna tartar... Highly recommended!

loved it!!!
I just ate here and i absolutely loved it!! The food was delicious..flatbreads, rock shrimp salad, bronzini, duck..these were just some of the foods we got. They all tasted really delicious, I couldn't wait for the next course to come to see what it would taste like. The ambiance and the service were also delightful. I can't wait to go back to try other foods on their menu!!

Dependably Excellent
I've eaten at the Orchard 3-4 times over the past 3 years. It has been excellent each time. The food is outstanding: rustic, straightforward and unpretentious, yet exciting and unpredictable. All of the flatbreads are delicious, especially the robiola and steak tartare, and their pastas are absolutely incredible. The portions are very generous. The restaurant has a very unusual, appealing ambiance--the lighting is a dull gold/yellow, and it's much quieter than other comparable places in the neighborhood. The service is good, as well. The Orchard is a great bet for any date or special occasion--it's not cheap, but it's worth it.

Best In L.E.S.
I definitely was not expecting to find such a cool vibe when I first saw this place. Very unassuming from the outside. Once you step in there is a beautiful amber glow throughout the place. Make sure you try the mushroom flatbread and the tuna tartare. They were the perfect size and were delicious. For my entree I had the branzini and my date had the paella. We were both really blown away by these dishes. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes!

Food, Staff, and Wine: Nice!
I love this place very unassuming from the outside. Once you walk in you feel like you step into another world. Who ever designed this place got it right. I came here on a blind date..The date left something to be desired..UGH, but let me tell you. make sure you get the robiola flatbread. The beef wraps were perfect. Wish I could sat that about my date. To finish the meal I ordered the Paella. I left more than satisfied. Can't wait to bring a girl I really like.

Yuck, yuck, yuck
Ate here on a thursday with a friend and we were both incredibly dissapointed. The place was EMPTY and we immediately felt uncomfortable, being only one of two tables eating in a large, empty dining room at 9pm in NYC! Then when we got the food, the "goat cheese salad" looked like it was from the local deli and the ingredients all seemed boring and not even of good quality. I'm no food snob, but I eat out a lot in NYC and I would rather hit a diner for an $8 burger than eat here again!

Really good
When your order has been taken, the flatbread that is served is small, and just a teaser. You want more immediately, but once we got the appetizers we were happy we hadn't asked for more. The mushroom flatbread: very mushroomy - excellent if you like mushrooms. (good for sharing) The lobster empanadas had a crunchy shell and flavourful filling. They tasted like authentic empanadas, (which is a compliment) and were served a very favourful sauce. Duck was grilled to perfection, buttery soft on the inside. great taste, the compote for the sticky rice was a little too sweet, but otherwise delicious. Lamb, excellent, flavours in the accompanying orzo., amazing Cavatelli - al dente (almost unheard of in a restaurant), Great creamy sauce. Desert dulce de leche gelato cake - it is difficult to get dulce de leche flavour without it being too sweet or syrupy. This was a good ice-cream cake, ( good for sharing) The food in this restaurant is not bursting with flavour, instead they have food, cooked well and the seasoning used thoroughly enhances the taste of the food. At times there is fusion, but it is fusion done well. It is clear that the flavours/ideas/textures they have adopted/imported have been scrupulously researched. All in all an excellent choice. Everyone who went has said they would go back
