Been looking for a good burger spot for a while after a couple closed down in the neighborhood. glad to of found this spot!

Not all it's made out to be...
After traveling half way around the world, we were told to sample the best burgers on earth and what a let down it was. After ordering a water, only to be brought out a vodka, we were then given our massive burgers (which took 3 bites to devour). Fries were not traditional fries, but burnt fried potato slices. Totally disappointed.

First off, the Burger is the best i've ever had!... and i LOVE burgers. Seriously blew and my friends away, no doubt hand crafted. They also give out free sliders and mini hot dogs and chicken throughout the night, i've never seen a place in NYC do that. Creates a very warm atmosphere. They have live music 7 nights a week and the quality of the bands are absolutely professional musicians (at least on the ground floor level) so you can always count on this place for great live music. It has exposed brick and painted concrete floors so it looks really old school and again... warm. It seemed really clean especially for a lower east side venue. i'm judging from the exceptionally clean bathroom, but they say a place that keeps a clean bathroom is usually a clean place. Every time i have friends come visit me from out of town I always bring them here and it makes me look great. All and all, i would say this place is a total winner and i really wish i had one in my home town so when i went home for holidays i had something fun to do.

Best bar in NYC hands down.
Super high quality live music with no cover charge in NYC!!! They pass out free sliders all night long!!! This place has such a warm feel. The burgers are the absolute BEST in New York. I am a concierge in a hotel in midtown and eat out every night comped in an effort to get me to send their way. Sending people to this place will make me look like a genius. Do yourself a favor and go to this place... you will become a regular.

Not good.
Not sure what the big deal with the burger here is. It is huge. Way too big for the bun. And it's just ok. Nothing special. And the place has a dirty feel about it, which is fine for boozing but not really for eating...

great music, even better burgers!
Ok, so they brag about their burgers here and I had to try one. No joke, it is one of the best I've ever had. I keep thinking about when I can get another one.

Try this burger.
I went here for the first time with a friend who'd been telling me about this place for a month. Finding great live music at a place that doesn't charge a cover is a great find in this city. I'd go back just for the music, but that burger was incredible.
