The Poorest High Tea I've Ever Had
I came here because I remembered how good their High Tea was 10 years ago. Wow, have things changed. The food here was sub-par (I would have been happier at McDonald's) and I couldn't believe I spent $16 on it. The scone and cookie were inedible, the tea had no flavor (and the tea bag was the dead giveaway that this would be poor), the sandwiches were tiny, and the "fruit" wasn't fresh. Don't waste your money on this place!!

High tea comes with a tea bag!
The high tea came highly recommended so this is what I ordered. The description sounded like it was going to be a decent amount of food, and we were hungry. Based on the price ($16.00), you would sort of assume that it would be at least a little substantial, and based on the fact that it's high tea, one would assume that it would not be tea bag tea. Well, never assume. Yes, it was a tea bag. Came with 3 tiny (and I mean tiny) sandwiches, which didn't taste bad, but were gone in 3 bites - literally. Along with one tiny tart of some sort, and a tiny scone. Also one bite each. No clotted cream... Not even a new tea bag for a new cup of tea. Friend ordered the Morgan burger and reported that it was pretty good. For $15 it better be. Those of us who ordered the high tea left the cafe very hungry and had a full meal about 2 hours later... for much cheaper.
