    Not recommended

I work around the corner and went in to pick up Bibim Bop with chicken and first of all, the chicken is not cooked and ice cold. I ordered the warm Bibim Bop, which apparently is an extra $3 from the price on the lunch special for ice cold chicken. I've never eaten here before and I will never eat here again.

FYI, the rice is *supposed* to be burned at the bottom...then you mix it with the rest of the rice to add texture. Mill is a fine place to get Korean food without having to head down to 32nd.

    Food is bland and blah

wow. what can i say. i thought all asian food tasted great. i might have to mention that this is my first time eating at a korean place. but boy.. i ordered a chicken hotpot. like um where is the sauce? the rice was burned at the bottom. i almost thought this was a vegan place. i had to literally pour some of the miso soup into it to make it taste more suitable.

I wouldn't recommend it to your non Korean friends

Food here is "not bad". Waiters were rude. Even with delivery, it was worse service ever.

    Delivery is ridiculous

This place is ridiculous for delivery. Time and time again they are very late. Sometimes well over an hour from time of call. Given the food is mediocre at best (though the only Korean in the neighborhood), its just not worth the roll of the dice on whether you are going to get dinner.

Great food at an even greater price

The Korean Mill, formerly a drug store, serves up some authentic Korean food. I recommend their hot stone pots and scallion pancakes. The hot plates may take some to cool, but they are amazing. I also recommend their grilled squid and pork. They have great dumps (dumplings).

    disappoints me every time

Damn, I get this craving for korean food sometimes and this restaurant is the only korean restaurant in the area, i think. and it gets me EVERY time. I always try to convince myself that it's good enough just to taste the koreanness, but it's just plain bad. The taste is unpleasant, the service is unpleasant, it's just not good. i can't even call it "decent." the price isn't reasonable because of the taste. I just ordered Bibim Naeng Myun which is supposed to be a bowl of spicy noodles, and they forgot to give me the f***king spice, which is the most important ingredient after the noodles itself. oh my gosh, am i pissed right now. i can't believe I wsted money on this s**t. Please, unless you are absolutely going to die if you don't consume korean food within 10 minutes in your belly, do yourself a favor and go downtown around 32nd and get yourself some good korean food. it's just not worth it.
