The restaurant is pleasant. Service was prompt - no problem getting to the theater on time. They do use very good, fresh ingredients. However, the apple, sunchoke and microgreen salad came without any sunchokes! I wasn't ordering this salad in June for the apple slices! The beet salad was very good and the trout was ok. The monkfish was good. The bread pudding was excellent and the strawberry shortcake was good too. The 4 of us ordered deviled eggs to start and they brought us 3 eggs. I think they should at least have alerted us to that fact.

I have never been asked to leave a restaurant in my life. Am horrified and it was most embarrassing. My pregnant wife arrived before me with my two years old daughter and the hostess refused to sit them (even though my wife had a reservation). When I arrived she said we needed to be out in 45 minutes. When we said we needed longer she said she would no longer be able to serve us and asked us to leave. We have been to Marshal before and had many nice meals there even though the food is pricy for what you get. The place is tiny so my wife always reserve before going to make sure they make room for the high chair. We are sad and upset by our treatment. All I can say is 100% not family friendly anymore. All I can say is we have been treated so terribly. I guess Marshal dislike locals and families! We won’t be back for sure.

Stopped by for dinner and had an excellent meal with the super fun waitress. The farm sides are cool and they're all local, and they tell you what farms grew each one... And not expensive so I'd go back. We did have to wait a few minutes to sit down because they are a pretty busy place.

I've eaten at this restaurant twice so far, and will definitely be back. Dinner the first time was delicious, though our table was slightly cramped. Went for brunch yesterday and wow, it was fantastic. French toast stuffed with apples and maple cream cheese. So decadent, and the texture was amazing. Crispy like it was deep fried, but it was from the brick oven! Wonderful. Highly recommended. Plus, it's organic and locally sourced!

I had dinner at the Marshal with a friend last week. The space is so cute, filled with warm candle light and reclaimed wood furnishings. The wood oven in the kitchen is impressive, and a nice treat in a non-pizza restaurant. The service was friendly, helpful and attentive without being overbearing, even in a cozy space. The food was awesome!! The brussels sprouts salad is a must-try! We also shared the chicken with bread salad which was cooked perfectly and was plenty to share. The bread salad underneath was gooey and crispy and wonderful. Interesting wine list and tasty fresh cocktails to boot. We couldn't help but try the sundae which was fudgy perfection with boozey bourbon cherries. We'll be back soon and often!

Had a great dinner at The Marshal. It's a super cozy but comfortable space with a big impressive brick wood oven in back. Salads are fresh and creative. I had the roasted brussel sprout caesar salad, which was delicious and different. The stuffed chicken breast was perfectly cooked and flavorful. My boyfriend had the swordfish, which was done on the charcoal grill. He loved it. We shared the peach cobbler for dessert. They have a great local wine and spirit selection--I recommend the Sage Advice cocktail .
