Best Indian in NYC
My favorite Indian just off Indian row on 2nd Ave. The food and service is great. I have been a regular since the place opened. Authentic Southern Indian cusine which means it is vegetarian. Try it and you will soon forget every other Indian restaurant in the city.

Amazing South Indian
My best friend is South Indian and she took me here for lunch. Absolutely delicious! Would recommend to everyone. Get outside of your comfort zone here. All was wonderful.

The Most Authentic South Indian in town
I grew up in South India and can tell the smallest difference between food thats great and almost there. I live in NYC for more than two years now and have been to almost every Indian restaurant in the city. This place is by far the closest the food has come to home cooking. The Idlis, Vadas, Dosas, Adai and Bisi Bele Bhath are my favorites. The Sambar is out of this world. The people are extremely friendly and actually try to go beyond just making you comfortable. I'm almost a regular now and would highly recommend this place if you want a great meal in a pleasant and quiet setting. Plus it's affordable!!!

Best Indian Food in NYC
To my mind this is the best Indian food you can get in NYC. And it is vegetarian, presented by sweet waiters, in a calm and casual atmosphere--what more could you want? You can get quite a few vegan dishes here, too. Lunch special is a great deal. Unlike most NYC Indian joints, this place serves super yummy south Indian food. Try a dosa--the Indian version of a crepe. You'll love it!
