Why is there no line out the door??
I love this place!! The servers know me as the girl who always orders the Angry Blue Crab Roll or the Chirashi... I can not believe how delicious, fresh, well made, and inexpensive the food has been every single time that i dine here! I have tried sushi all over the city, and this is by far my favorite place. I bring everyone i know here and I have never had anything but an outstanding meal.

A little piece of Japanese heaven on 3rd Avenue!
My husband and I went out for a quiet meal one Wednesday night after work and discovered a hidden gem... The Loop is a cozy yet stylish restaurant, with friendly and very knowledgeable staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home. The food is without doubt the best Japanese food I've eaten - beautifully presented and extremely innovative. On the menu you'll find familiar items prepared with a culinary twist and a long list of signature rolls which are both inspired and delicious. Amongst our choices were light shrimp tempura, flavorful shumai, melt-in-the-mouth eggplant with miso, and a Big Mac signature roll which we were encouraged (by the chef...) to eat with our hands! We left full, satisfied and with only a very small dent in our wallet. We will definitely be going back!

A welcome addition to the neighborhood. Great sushi. Kid friendly with high chairs. Quality of the sushi is wonderful and the staff was very friendly. - Noga Rosenthal

Excellent!
Wonderful addition to the neighborhood! Fresh, delicious, creative sushi. Service was adept but non-intrusive, and my friend's spicy tuna roll was phenominal! Also, the Sake Cosmo? Wonderful. This has just become our go to place.

best sushi in Gramercy
The Loop has incredibly good sushi. My favorite is the Pink Panther, but I've never tried a roll I was unhappy with. The lunch special portions are especially generous. The restaurant retained most of the decor that Chino's had & it is very cute inside. I get carryout 3x/week & since going there 2 or 3 times, I've always received a very warm greeting from the staff.

Finally! Awesome Sushi in my hood
I just stumbled into Loop today because I liked the look of the place when I walked by. The staff is so nice. I got take out, but will be back soon the dine in. The Mohawk roll is absolutely delicious. It has Softshell crab, tuna, avacoda...it has this delicious chopped salad on top (just for flavor). Yum!

Not your average...
My girlfriends and I were blown away by this newcomer! We expected it to be like all the other little sushi spots on every block of the city. However, the menu was refreshingly creative and the food was presented beautifully. We loved all 3 ceviches/carpaccios we tried; the fish was extremely fresh and the portions were generous. The Crispy Spicy Tuna app might even be better than Koi's! King Crab + Mushroom salad and Rock Shrimp Tempura were delish too. All the rolls we had were great too. This is by far the best quality sushi bar in my neighborhood. Great value, great fresh food. They will definitely be my go-to. Only complaint was it was quite hot sitting in the back away from the windows; I'm sure with Fall coming this will no longer be an issue.
