Suprising good food at reasonable prices. Oysters only $1 all day. Best bluepoint oysters we've had in years. Great selection of beer, whiskey and wine. Service good. Ambiance very nice. Definitely will try again.

Another overpriced gimmicky midtown place that could have been good. I am leaving this review after having spent $13 for a BLT that literally was made with one piece of typical store bought bacon snapped in half. Never again.

Visited the long room before a show last saturday. Not much of a crowd, but still a nice ambience by the fire with a hot drink. Food was nice we only had the pizza and some fries, but was very tasty. Our server was great, she could recommend many dishes although we did not have time to try them all. Will definitely be back, when we have more time to try the food, and all those beers on draft. Would highly recommend.

visited this restaurant/bar last year and were so happy with the staff and food. We were so amazed and dissapointed this year. Staff not at all friendly. Just got us a table handed us the menus. Took our order and within 5 minutes our fish and chips were on the table. We asked for a glass of wine with our meal and the staff member just got it and put it on the table. She did not open our mouth. Did not come near us until we had it finished. She took the plates and brought the bill. She did not even offer desert. Came over a few times to see if we had the money on the table for her. Not good enough. I was sick later after it. No atmosphere.

Found this place across the street from Millenium Broadway Hotel where we were staying for a few days last week. This uncrowded place is sparkling clean and fresh, service was friendly and attentive. As a special favor, staff turned up the TV sound in the back room so we could watch our beloved Chicago Blackhawks playoff game. Most of us had the Monday special 1 1/4 lb. whole lobster and mussels, which we all agreed was very good and a great value for $20, especially for the Times Square area. Prime rib sandwich also got good review although slightly on the dry side (ask for extra au jus). On a later visit had steak frites for $25 which was also very good. Many better restaurants in NYC, but this is a great "local" option and well deserves a return visit.

My friend Brian and I went to see The Addams Family musical. We stopped in The Long Room before the play to eat. I had the delicious Thanksgiving Day feast... (Turkey with stuffing on Ciabata bread) It was good. My friend had the pork chop reuben.. We both enjoyed the dinner.. Fire place was light... Very Nice atmosphere. Music played in background. We were able to converse. Thanks....

We visited this bar last week for dinner. We are from Cork, Ireland. We were staying in the beautiful hotel next door called the Hotel Mela. We both had the fish and chips and it was just perfect. No excess oil on the fish or chips. The bar staff were so nice. Really looked after us. We hope to be back next year and will definately be calling back for more. Well done. Keep the lovely food up.
