Wow!
Fantastic period. From the minute you walk in you feel at home...the waitress was awesome...the "bib and beets" salad was great as were the meatball sliders ....our entrees (crispy chicken and steak over potato salad) - so so so great! We finished with the beignets - life changing! So happy we are a 3 minute walk from our house to this awesome experience... We have a new favorite!

Bar none, the best
I love this place. From start to finish it is a revelation. The intimate setting provides you with a feeling of almost sharing in to preparation of your meal. The wine list is extensive, and on the dozen trips that I have made, has always served up a delicious glass. The menu, from its rotating specials to its consistent standbys, has always been wonderful. The fish dishes, especially the whole fish, are exceptional, and their chicken is some of the finest I have had in the city. Their meat dishes, above all, the lamb, have made for some extraordinary evenings. I hesitate to add more superlatives for fear of gilding the lily. Simply put, this is my favorite restaurant in the city, an absolute jewel.

Excellent!
Very good experience overall. The Bibb & Beat salad is to die for. My fish was very delicious!! I only gave it a 4 on atmosphere not becasue the place is not romantic and wonderful becasue the space is so tight the waiter continually knocked me every time he went to another table and one of the people I was dining with was right against the radiator which was very uncomfortable for her with the heat.

Love-Love-Love- the Little Owl!
You gotta love this Village restaurant! Outstanding food, friendly service, and quaint setting add up to a very memorable dining experience. I started with the Cavatelli, which was so light and fresh. Yum! I then had the Crispy Chicken which was mouth watering and cooked to perfection! Finished with the Rasberry Beignets. Just loved every bite and looking forward to dining here again!

Beautiful Evening
Beautiful evening with e friends and the food was superb. Tiny place but it does feel so special. Service was excellent. We loved it and my husband and I will absolutely return own our own to try the other selections on the menu!!

good but not memorable
three of us ate there for dinner. we had reservations at 5:30 and were seated immediately. service was good. atmosphere was good but very cramped. we had the cavatelli (which was good), the roasted fish (beautiful presentation, bland taste), and the halibut (also bland). with 2 glasses of wine and 1 appetizer it was $150 with tip. It was not worth the price.
