Get the Burrata
I had dinner here last night and it was great. The waiter (John Paul) was one of the best waiters I've ever had, he made knew everything about the menu and made a great wine recommendation. The burrata appetizer (a huge ball of mozzarella) was phenomenal, along with the rest of the food, service and drinks. We were not rushed and attended to frequently. I can't wait to go back!

Where's the beef?
Went here for lunch and ordered the steak sandwich. It was tiny...and it came with 4 half-inch long potato fries and maybe three tiny pieces of lettuce. Including a diet coke and the tip, my bill was $37! Will not go back.

Am I still in NYC
When you walk inside you almost forget that you are in NYC. The atmosphere is very quaint. We started w/ the cheese plate and wine. We were not rushed so we could enjoy the whole dining experience. All entrees ordered were perfectly plated and seasoned. Can't wait to return this winter to enjoy the fireplace.

Not worth the money
The food and ambiance was great. The portions were rather small, so don't go here if you're hungry. Even though we made reservations, they gave us a small table by the wall upstairs. The waitress was really friendly, but the manager was rather unfriendly and downright rude. Overall, I won't be back. I can find better places to spend money than this.

Excellent service and food.
I ate here on a Saturday night and because we didn't have reservations they seated us downstairs which has the same menu as the upstairs dining room. I cannot name one thing that was bad about the food or the service. The truffle mac & cheese was incredible, the lamb, steak and skate were amazing. No complaints! Great atmosphere and delicious food.

Atmosphere better than food
After seeing a bway show, we arrived early for our reservation and were seated promptly and graciously. The place is narrow and cozy, hostess seated us upstairs with a view of E. 17th st. The area is adorable so to see the snow tree lined street sipping a glass of red was relaxing. Service was decent but no one made any suggestions to the menu, speaking of which, it is a very very simple menu. Don't come here for a fantastic meal. We had the black olive hummus trio with little bread sticks which was good but i felt it was something i could serve myself at home. We also had the crostini trio, not great. I ordered the skate and he ordered the short ribs. Ribs were tasty and fatty but that's what short ribs are. Fatty. Skate was salty, wasn't digging the whole flavor. I left the whole thing on the plate and the server didn't even ask about it. At least you would think she would notice and ask if i wanted something else. It was late and time to go so on to dessert. We ordered this crepe hazlenut dish covered in powdered sugar which was the best dish of the night. Fresh and refreshing. I would go here for wine and a small bite with your guy or friends but not for a great meal. Cute place though.
