The Heights Bar & Grill

I come here almost every week and usually several times a week for a few important reasons. 1) frozen margaritas are $3/pint between 5-7pm and late night from 12-1 or something 2) the spinach burrito 3) the nachos are the best on the uws 4) good burgers. Basically, everything is good and cheap, and I'm never disappointed. It's a small restaurant, so it gets kind of cramped in there, which is a drawback. In the summer, they open their rooftop garden which helps.

I have been coming here for over 10 years now... The food is good, the Drinks are great! The atmosphere is wonderful. If it's warm you should go up to the roof. This place is truly an West Side Treasure :-). I can not say enough about it.

The Heights offers a unique atmosphere fun for all ages. Mostly it will be the Columbia Undergrads who have control of the place but that is a plus. This means more girls. This place is known as the the Columbia swim team's hang out so you can likely encounter Columbia swimmers at the Heights almost every evening. The food is unbelievable. For the price is doesn't get better. Their burgers are just made to perfection and their fries, o wow, they just a the perfect blend of crispiness and softness. The bar will be open later than most on the weekends because of the relaxed atmosphere, so come see the place at such great heights.

Can get crowded with boozing Columbia undergrads in the evening. Rooftop terrace makes good brunch option in warm weather...

I really like eating at the Heights, I've been very happy with everything I've ever ordered. Brunch menu is also very good--eating on the roof terrace is key when the weather is warm. Only drawbacks are the size--sometimes there is pretty good wait for tables, and it gets really crowded during late bar hours.
