Place stays crowded, but it's because of the drinks. Enjoy the great bar and terrific service, but stick to drinks. If you have no other choice and have to eat, your best bet is their buffalo wing appetizer.

The margaritas here are great but the food is mediocre at best. Completely uninspiring food. How hard is it to make a burger taste bad? The atmosphere is fun if you like to be surrounded with a bunch of Columbia kids, otherwise you should probably stay away.

The heights is great from every angle. The bartenders are cool, the food is both excellent and reasonable priced and if you catch them in the lunch menu the $5 or $6 burrito is hard to beat. The nacho's are homemade and another excellent choice. In fact after typing this review I think Im heading there for lunch NOW :)

I have lived in the neighborhood for almost 4 years and have eaten here a handful of time and every time the food or the service is subpar. It's great in the summer to grab drinks on the roof...just eat before you go.

Cheap and yummy margaritas for happy hour and good burgers. Highly recommended.

The food was very good, the steakwich was very tasty, but a bit skimpy. I never saw my daughter eat popcorn shrimp so qucikly & the next day asked when we could go back. Great list of microbrews & a wide selection of eating choices that were Mex/Tex & cafe. We ate on the roof & it wasn't the ritz, but it was way-cool. The service is very friendly & good too. We will go back soon.

I have been coming here with my children since The Heights opened. The food is excellent--I particularly recommend the salmon and the nachos--and the atmosphere is pleasant. The staff is unfailingly kind and attentive and is very patient with my picky children's many food idiosyncracies. In the warm months, the rooftop seating area is a delight and is worth waiting for. There are many tasty vegetarian alternatives. I adore their sauteed spinach, which can be ordered as a side order and comes with the salmon. The food at The Heights is much better quality than at most places that welcome children, so you get adult quality food with many menu items which appeal to children and teens.
