    Best Place for LUNCH

Trying to find a good fast place (that is not fast food) near Columbia is not easy... we stumbled upon the Heights (its on the 2nd floor so make sure to look up) for a quick bite to eat...They had a 6.50 lunch sign that brought us in and did not disapoint.... The place was relatively busy (which is a good sign) and the staff was nice... We ordered off the lunch menu.. I got a chicken burrito (which was huge) and my friend got a stuffed steak taco (which was delicious)... I have to say that it was less than 10 minutes from the time we sat down to our food being served..Very fast and friendly.. after tax and tip out meal was still under $10...Good times!

Used to be so much better

Not sure if the crew has changed here or what, but service and value used to be so much better! Careful when you order the "giant 10 oz" martinis, they come in a regular 5 oz glass! I pointed that out to the waitress when she came with the drinks but she was just like whatever, "this is how we always serve the tinis" - oh well. I ordered my food without onions - and it came loaded with onions and other stuff not mentioned on the menu. Will only come back for the happy hour during week days, otherwise no longer worth the detour to Broadway. Very disappointed after 5 years of great times here :-(

    great place

I loved this place! went the other night with friends and had a great time. 4 dollar frozen drinks (cant find those everywhere!) and large portions!! enjoyed the rooftop but wish they would play music. My server was really friendly even though it was busy. i'd return if i was in the area again.

    Will Always Be a Favorite

This place is comfortable and a far cry from the uppity up of New York City. The staff are friendly, but more importantly, just get the job done! The Happy Hour is unbeatable, as are the frozen margaritas. How can you argue with a rooftop Happy Hour starting at 4pm! Been going here since I was in college, and won't stop. The food is great and a great value, especially the Burrito, pretty legendary.

    Good Food-Take Out/Delivery Best

Dine in service is below par. Waitstaff is not on point, and although front of the house restaurant employees tend to have high turn over, this restaurant in particular has a remarkably high t.o. The food is good though. I like the lunch specials and usually order for pick up (the food is prepared quickly). They could give more food though-kinda skimpy servings. Overall a decent restaurant in a good location.

    bartenders

If you come here, go to a table, never the bar. The bartenders are semi-psychos. They make no eye contact whatsoever and are insulting. You can come here ten times, but if the bartender walks through the bar and is not on duty, he or she will pretend not to know you. It is fine to come to this establishment, overall it is not bad, but do not go to the bar--tables only.

    BEST. RESTAURANT. EVER.

I have been to this place about 10 times and it has yet to let me down. Though on occasion I've had some slow service, in general it has been more than fine. EVERY item I have ever ordered off the menu has been delicious and a generous serving. I highly recommend the chicken pesto sandwich, any burrito, the queso fundido, and the peppercorn french fries. Sitting out on the rooftop is great and even when it's chilly they have heaters going. If you're on the UWS and looking for somewhere with a diverse menu and low prices, this is it!
