Go for the beer, leave the food...
Awesome bar - big, authentic pub-like atmosphere, but the food was eh... maybe it was a bad night.

Best burgers in NYC
Go hungry. Sit outdoors. Order one of the finest burgers in the world (grilled onions and cheddar recommended). Drink a beer. Drink another beer. Eat. Revel in the beefy goodness.

My favorite in the neighborhood.
This is the best pub grub in the Chelsea area. My husband and I will always argue over where to go for dinner and this place always wins out. The nightly specials are the best and most interesting - don't go by what you see on the standard menu, there's always something special cooking.

Good everyday food
Great Burgers, good beer selection so step off all of you haters.... Don't come here for mind blowing culinary achievements, though if you want some solid food at a fair price in a good atmosphere (dining on couches and rotating photography exhibits) than it's hard to beat this place. Excellent salmon salad and nice brunch.

Best Chelsea Neighborhood Pub
Owned by author Sebastian Junger (The Perfect Storm). This cozy pub feels like it has been around for a hundred years in its rustic charm. The food is great, the service is friendly and accomodating. This is my favorite neighborhood pub in Chelsea, a hidden jem frequented by writers, photographers and beatnik types. I reccomend the daily specials in particular, which include dishes like seared tuna with bok choy ravioli, and comfort foods like mozzarella sticks (which are the best I've had - made with fresh mozz). The fare isn't cheap, but well worth it!

Expensive, tasteless food
I tried the chicken fingers. While they were big and crunchy, they were tasteless and were dry. You'd think they'd at least season it with a little salt. Even the ketchup that I dipped them in had more taste. The entrees are $10-$20. I expected better food at those prices!
