    No Generous Portions Here

You have to pay 1 dollar extra if you want a schmear of hummus or other item. In general, your sandwich can come out for more than 8 dollars and you will finally have enough on your sandwich. Sabich is the best way to go as the egg fills the sandwich. This is without the hummus..then you add an extra dollar. They are not flexible, no substitutions on the sandwich..just add ons for 1 dollar. A willingness to satisfy the customer is not found here. Its a shame as the neighborhood really needs a great falafel place where you get a smile and make sure the customer is happy.

    Great food, marred by staff

I've learned from past visits here that the item descriptions on the menu bare little resemblance to what they actually serve you - so I verified with the cashier what was in the thing I ordered (Sabich), and then ordered it. Surprise! Totally different than what I was told. Cashier was very quick to apologize that she was wrong and didn't really know what came with what order. She didn't actually offer to fix the situation or provide me with what I asked for. The random assortment of toppings and extras I received was fresh and delicious, but given the wealth of middle eastern restaurants in the neighborhood, no need for me to play ingredient roulette at this one again.

Food small and ok, service is poor!

The falafel shop must own the monolopy on slow and inconsiderate cashiers. My server was rude, slow and unknowledge about the food. I live in the neighborhood and I won't return after dealing with her. I waited for 15 MINUTES for a falafel sandwich that she charged me an extra dollar for hummus!

    Amazing falafel

Great falafel ! They deliver in small plastic countainers which keep the pita warm. Best falafel place in the Soho / Nolita / LES area!
