We went for lunch. As we pulled up we noticed the resturant workers smoking on the side of the building. First we thought that is very unprofessional. We walked in and noticed it was very nice inside so were anticipating the meal to be just as good. We ordered a blooming onion to start and it was pretty tasty. Then I ordered a prime rib sandwhich and my bf got a burger. It's odd a steakhouse does not offer a steak for lunch. Our food came out with a lot of issues. The burger was missing the sauce in the description and the lettuce my bf requested. I had to track down the server to have it fixed.My prime rib sandwhich looked ok but as I tried to eat it the bread fell apart. The ciabatta bread was not toasted which made it taste very dry.The cook basically slapped butter on it and threw the sandwhich together. I decided to skip the bread and just eat the meat and cheese. After a couple bites I noticed the prime rib tasted a couple days old. My bf tried it to make sure I was right and agreed it was not good. He said his burger was very bland like they don't season their meat. After our below average lunch I gave the server feedback on why I didn't eat my meal. She did not give us any kind of comp but said she hopes we come back and that she was sorry. She also proceeded to tell me everyone that's been there has liked it. I still gave her a good tip even though she didn't refill my bf's drink. As we left the restuarant the same two workers were outside smoking again. Clearly they put more effort into taking smoke breaks than preparing meals. I give this place a year tops.

I love this place. It's very new but already has found a place on my list of regular spots to go. The food is top notch and the alcohol selection is fantastic. I'd suggest the burgers and sliders. They are really magnificent.

This is a fantastic bar, period. The bar tenders/owners are great guys, and their passion for their work (and the products they serve) makes the Copper Still an excellent place to grab a pint or to hang out all night with friends or clients. Their whiskey list is legendary (or will be once the whiskey elite find this place), and there is something about true Irish charm that just can't be faked. Stop in here and introduce yourself to Brendan or Dave. You will not be disappointed.

Heard about this new spot in another local establishment. So several of us made the stop for a pint. Great bar and the bartender, Peter, was very knowledgable about the whiskey and menu. The Guinness was fresh with a proper pour. Did not have time to eat but definitely will be back for some Irish cheer.

I didn't know what to expect. There are so many "Irish" bars in NY that all feel fake. This place didn't. They have an amazing whiskey selection but also really good, high quality food and nice wine. I have only been once but I will be back.
