This must be heaven!
I love this place. The food is awesome and the drinks are nice and strong just like I like them :) The bartenders are like scientist and the wait staff is amazing.

Great food for the price, not great service
I went there for brunch. They didn't have the drink that I ordered and only told me so after I asked where it was. So, I ordered something else and that didn't come until I asked where that was. I had the omelet, which was yummy, but they forgot my toast. When I reminded them about the toast they charged me extra for it. The portions were small but inexpensive. Overall, the food was good. The service was awful.

Great food, great drinks, sit at the bar
I am consistently shocked by the quality of the food. It's all great! Brunch was great (though not all the stuff in the sampler plates knocked my socks off - I only liked 2 of the bacons and 2 of the deviled eggs). The bar food is also fantastic. Mac & cheese is yummy as can be. The big surprise: bread pudding. I cannot get enough of the stuff. Though I don't need to say it, they have fabulous drinks as well. I think my service has been great because I generally sit at the bar --drinks and food come quickly.

Amazing food, poor service
I went to The Clover Club for brunch this weekend, and while the food was incredible be warned that the service is sub par. The hostess was rude, and after waiting upwards of 30 minutes for a table we had to wait another 15 minutes just to place our drink order. Though we were only a party of two, they didn't bring either our appetizers or main courses out simultaneously and our waitress consistently forgot to bring out things that we'd requested! I really think the atmosphere and food/cocktails are top notch but I'm hesitant to return--there are so many places offering brunch on Smith Street...

Two words: Baked Eggs
Baked eggs for brunch with oysters Rockefeller...the real way to prepare it. Yum. I still talk about this place's baked eggs. Going again really, really soon.

Old world charm with a bit of hipster
This is a great place if your into experimenting with your alcohol. They have those old world drinks like swizzles and juleps. The brunch is rather good with baked eggs and a really good cheese grits. It's a great spot, good food value, expensive drinks. Definitely a spot to try.

Great Drinks!
My friends and I were nearby and wanted to get some cocktails last Saturday evening. The night was young, and the bar was pretty full, a good sign. The drinks ordered, a Moscow Mule, a Singapore Sling and Southside Fizz (a Tom Collins variant) were all expertly prepared and delicious. In addition, one of my friends ordered the Lamb Burger, deemed delicious and dripping with juice from the meat. The drinks aren't cheap, the standard cocktail appears to be $12, but it's price is justified by the high quality drinks and the great atmosphere of the bar, and the elegant seating area in the back.
