    YUM!

I had the chocolate molten cake, OMG it was fabulous. I wanted to lick the plate it was so good. Everyone liked what they had, we will definitely go back.

    LOVE this place

Im really sad about the bad reviews - this place is my absolute favorite. Yes, the chocolate layer cake sucks and no one should ever order it but the brownie ice cream sundae is amazing! Plus, they have great wine pairings, the atmosphere is great for a day and the chocolate mousse is yummy too. I would enthusiastically recommend...

    Great place!

I love the Chocolate Room! I was there again last night and it was wonderful- the desserts are delicious, the service courteous and attentive- If you are a fan of chocolate this is the place for you!

    overrated

i'm came here the other day after hearing so much about their chocolate layer cake (it was even in oprah mag). but i was terribly disappointed. the cake tasted like something i could make with betty crocker. nothing special at all, the cake was ridiculously bland.

Rude service twice, not going back

Took a friend here for her birthday. The owner was rude and confrontational about seating. One in the party was seated (in error I guess) because there is a policy on seating incomplete parties, none the less she was seated by the staff and given a menu. When the remaining two of us in the party arrived and sat at the same table, the owner/manager dashes out and insists we can't be served because there are other people waiting to be seated. We didn't cut the line, our friend was sitting and hadn't ordered. It turned into a ten min conversation with him saying he would ALLOW us to stay this one time?! What!? No way I'm ever again pleading to overpay for morsels of chocolate in an overrated trendy cafe. Its really not that deep.... Cute place, chocolate is good, but its not worth the attitude...

    discovery

my friend heard about the chocolate room and decided to check it out. we went on a sunday around 9pm. there was a long line but we waited 10 minutes. the place is really small but cozy and cute. our waitress was a little snooty and didnt really do much. the food was alright but the portions were small. its a good place to go to for an after dinner dessert. the price was right too. overall i'd say it was a fun place but it isn't something i'd go back to on my own.
