Pleasantly Surprised
We ate here on a Saturday evening before a concert at Radio City. Initially we chose the restaurant for its location to the concert venue and the prix fixe menu. I must say, the filet fignon was cooked perfectly to my liking and my husband's lamb was out of this world. Our table for 4 of us was conofrtable and the service was great. We're definitely making plans to go back soon!

Restaurant week hit
We ate here for the first time during Restaurant Week. Very nice menu with items from the regular menu, just smaller portions. (still nice size). Wait staff was pleasant and very helpful. When we had a problem with the wine, it was not a problem-handled graciously and without a problem. Steaks were very good. Flourless chocolate cake was fantastic! Overall good experience.

Best lamb chops ever!
We very much enjoyed our dinner at Capital Grille. The food was outstanding and the service matched. We were seated immediately and food and drink were delivered promptly. Our waiter was very open with his opinions on certain food choices (for example, when we ordered crocks of french onion soup, he told us they were very large and suggested we order cups of soup instead which were more than enough but were not actually listed on the menu). He definitely steered us right. The restaurant was busy but not packed, so I can't comment on how it would be if it were full. We had no trouble speaking but I could see how a full restaurant would be quite loud.

Pre Theatre Menu
Went to Capital Grille on a Saturday evening, and took advantage of their Pre Theatre Menu. Great menu and the price was great too. Menu is available between 4 and 7. We were offered the original menu, so we asked for the Pre Theatre Menu which we were immediately given. We are returning again on Saturday and we are all looking forward to the Filet Mignon.

Alter Your Credit Card Amount
We wend on 24th July 2010. Overall the food was good, good propotion, good taste. However, the waiter was below standard. He took our bread after it was placed on our table less then 5 mins and before we touched. He just came and said "You don't want the bread, I will take it ...." The worst is the total bill was $158.96 since I did not like the service, I put $175 as total (a good 10% tips for bad service). But when I got my card statement, the total was altered to $188.96.... This is absoutly unacceptable!

Wonderful Experience
A friend and I went for a long lunch on a recent snowy day. We were treated to the calamari as an appetizer...hands down, some of the best calamari I have ever had. Next up was the chopped salad with shrimp...again delicious! We split the sirloin and again, it was one of the better steaks I've had in the city. Top it off with lobster mac and cheese, parmesean truffle fries, creamed spinach and the friendliest waiter in town and we will most definitely be back again! The staff is very attentive and management is very responsive to customer needs as well. All in all a great experience.

Great bar scene with excellent food
The bar scene is great. I met my fiance there while he was waiting on a table for dinner. The food is always excellent. Love the veal chop with roquefort butter is so delicious as is the onion soup & the wedge salad. I could sit & eat the entire basket of bread too! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
