Wanted to like it...
This place is absurd. The prices are unbelievably high for what you get. There are tons of other spots in the city with better value for your money, across the board. Yes, the meat and cheese spreads are delicious, but you really don't get much for what you pay. The salad I ordered was essentially some torn up lettuce with a few uber salty mushrooms. And, our waiter kept working the up-sell, first on the hot dogs, which weren't anything to write home about, and next on dessert, which we skipped because we were just over the whole place by that point. I can spend half what I did here and have a meal 5 times better at plenty of other places in the city. Left feeling annoyed, poorer, and still a bit hungry.

This Place and the Whole Pighead rock
This place is rad. The menu has all kinds of great unique tasties like the Ragu Parmagiano toast, the Lardo toast, and a host of nice sausage selections. The whole roasted pighead is unbelievable! Gross, no doubt, but truly a taste bonanza! The beer menu is extensive and the staff is friendly and super schooled on all items on the menu from beers to foods to wines! I plan to be a regular hear, to eat, hang or just for a snack-

Yay!
I love to go to places that start with "The" and generally I am happy. This is a new spot that does the standard gastropub formula with a touch of cool that comes mainly from the name. Sandwiches are a bit pricy at 12 to 15 bucks but generally yummy. Hip crowd and just fun to say you've been there.
