Lots of money for mediochre food

As a vegan I wanted to love this place but was so disappointed. I ordered raw pesto zucchini pasta ($19) it was soggy and tasteless. My friend ordered a veggie burger ($17) which was completely underwhelming and another friend ordered the pulled pork sandwich ($17) which was just soggy shredded mushrooms with carrots on a roll. I don't mind shelling out $17 for an awesome burger once in a while BUT If you're charging those prices I expect the food to be really good. I left feeling like I just got scammed. I don't understand how they can get away with charging these prices for this food. Also, if you're trying to pass as a high end restaurant clean the friggin' bathroom! There was wet toilet paper all over the floor. Save your money and go somewhere that respects their customers.

Great Place for Vegetarians and the Vegetarian-Curious

Went there for brunch twice! Their bean sausages and bacon (The Proper Fry Up and the bagel thing is what I tried) were DELICIOUS and my meat-loving friend who had the same things agreed as well. Service was great - I remember they gave us an extra side of the sausages for free because the waitress had recommended it and we were demonstrably excited at the prospect. The juice was pricey but full of fancy ingredients and combinations (saffron with watermelon, etc.) Don't know why this has only gotten mediocre to bad reviews here. Seems like they've shaped up as time has gone on. Would completely recommend for brunch.

    Left hungry

Kinda pricey for the serving you get. The kind of sandwich I could make myself at home, although the cashew cheddar was really good and I've never had it before. Otherwise, pretty good but nothing special. I would be more excited if the sandwich was $8 instead of $12. The potato salad was nothing to write home about. Just a somewhat soggy mix of regular and sweet potatoes. I liked the dressing, though. I want this place to make it. Gonna give it another try in a week or two. There is a lot of promise. But items either need to be beefed up, or prices brought down.

Left a lot to be desired

Items featured on menu not available ie no Specialty soup on one of the coldest days of the year.Extremely expensive...2 sandwiches (mashed avocado and egg salad) and 2 smoothies $40+. They didn't seem to be quite ready for customers. Help eating behind the counter while preparing food.Limited selection was fresh. Will not return ...would not recommend except to the least discriminating.
