The Bourgeois Pig

Oh, I remember back in the day when I used to go here and have a sense that everyone was working like a team. The friendly bartender would greet me with my fav cocktail and a quirky remark and I would smile. Well those days are over! The original Skeleton crew still puts a smile on my face, but aside from that you can see this place going downhill. They do have great wine specials and yummy food! Just don't expect the service to be anything better than ech! So sad...

Service is poor. Went here for dinner and another time for drinks and both times the service was subpar. They seemed annoyed to be working, irritated to have to help you, and the fondue was nothing to write home about.

Slightly expensive yes, but totally worth it. My sister and I split the mushroom fondue and loved it. We were stuffed and couldn't stop eating it. The atmosphere is great and we loved the experience. I will definitely be back!

The staff was welcoming, and the host gave us a nice table. They don't take reservations, but if you wait, a table opens up. For $25, you get plenty of fondue, with a small bowl of potatoes and bread, pickles on the side. One order is good for 2 people. Bruchetta was delicious, best I've ever had. Champagne was delicious, but at $13 each, I drank it slowly. Good for appetizers/special occassion, including New Year's eve.

Incredibly long wait for nothing special. very expensive drinks that were nothing special. atmosphere very crowded but (you guessed it) nothing special.

the rarebit fondue is awesome, and they don't skimp on the amount of yummy things to dip into it! best fondue I've had thus far, feeds two and you won't leave hungry. cozy, romantic spot, though slightly cramped. I def recommend this place!!

For those looking for an authentic fondue experience, The Bourgeois Pig is more of an appetizer than the real deal. I had the mushroom fondue which came in a small ceramic bowl and had too thick of a consistency. If you're looking for something similiar you had in the Alps, I would not recommend this place.
