    Subpar food and service

The service at Blackfinn is a disgrace. Need to hire some waitresses with experience and a cook who knows how to make simple bar food. Overpriced frozen food and what the heck is with the bartenders? They literally have never made a drink in their lives. Who doesn't know how to make a gin and tonic?

food is good... that's about it

Visited Blackfinn recently, I really like for food... the problem is the service is really slow. We were there for lunch on a weekday and it took well over an hour for lunch. After we sat down it took the waitress over 15 minutes to greet us and take our drink orders. Also be cautious of visiting of Fridays at lunch time, seems it's some sort of union mid-day happy hour and it gets really loud

    Best Pub Food in NYC!!!

When you first walk into this place you don't think that the food is anything more than just regular bar fare. You will be pleasantly surprised! The food is always consistently good, fresh and restaurant quality. Love this place!

    Not for dinner

We found this place because it was close to my co-workers hotel. I don't recommend eating here. It's a bar and not a restaurant. If you don't mind having a shouting conversation then this is the place. It was very loud. There's a big bar, so a good place to get drinks and socialize. I ordered the blackened tuna and it was pink inside and black on the outside which I expected, but it was dry, hard, and not very tasty. My friend got the beef tips and he said it was so so. Food 'no', drinks and beautiful people 'yes'. The service was ok. The waitress/bar tender stopped over several times.

Best Cajun Food in the City!

The Cajun Food at the Blackfinn was awesome. The service was great & the amount of food you get for the money you spend was unbelievable. The atmosphere was hot with all the large screen TV's. We even had our own personal one at our booth which we were able to change to the game we wanted to watch. The music was off the charts & the place was full of beautiful people. I highly recommend going to the Blackfinn & checking it out for your self.
