A big hit
I have lived in bburg for 11 years and i am truly thrilled that a spot like this is finally here. the space is super cool and relaxed. the food was wonderful and fairly priced. the rose sangria is delicious as are the oysters, fish tacos, burger, truffle mac 'n cheese, asparagus. there is a charming outdoor area and fun bar bar for parties/drinks. i sincerely look forward to going there again.

Umm..
After seeing 3 near perfect reviews my bf and I gave it a shot. Should have waited for some "real" reviews to appear. Watermelon salad was obvi premade as the melon was dry. The waitress seemed like she was doing you a favor, the drinks were pricey but weak, and the crowd was very self-important. We liked the pork shank and the fries, though it's hard to mess those up. Avoid.

Fantastic
We have been to the Bedford several times now, twice for brunch and once for dinner, and every time it has been outstanding. I had eggs there and I left saying "I didn't know eggs could be that good." I think The Beford has surpassed Egg for my favorite brunch spot for eggs! Dinner was equally as delicious. The special pork dinner with brussel sprouts was outstanding, and I don't even really like brussel sprouts. But they were so delicious. Will be back!

Great addition to hood!
I've eaten at The Bedford a number of times. There food is always fresh and delicious. La Colombe coffee is my favorite! The decor is original and new. The service is very friendly. Things I'd improve upon? I'd add an "egg any style" to the brunch menu with a selection of cool sides. Even though I've loved all the food I've eaten there, there's nothing on the regular menu that's a constant. It seems to always change! If you get something once, and like it, you can't get it again!!! Yes, it's very pricey. It would be nice to have some less expensive options on a slightly bigger menu. The only bad thing I can say is their bartenders in the back always seem a bit timid and new to the biz. But I guess confidence will come in time!

Great addition to the neighborhood
Glad we stopped into the Bedford tonight - it was one of our better Williamsburg dining experiences. The food was high quality, delicious and well presented. Husband had one of the specials, fluke with black kale, heirloom tomatoes and a few other garnishes and I had the fish and chips (tasty beer batter, no sogginess). We split an order of clams with drawn butter, corn on the cob discs and grilled bread - sourdough I think. There was no room for dessert, maybe next time. Our server was totally on top of everything and friendly (sadly hard to find around these parts sometimes). The atmosphere was chill, loved the eclectic background music. We'll be back with friends.

Excellent restaurant, great enviornment
All the people who work there are very friendly including the chef. Haven't had a bad meal yet though a little pricy. But its completely worth it if your looking for a nice place to eat with excellent original food that's not grimy like a lot of the other bar/restaurants on Bedford. This is a must try place!
